Nathan's Contest in Saratoga Springs

The following is written historical fact: The Battle of Saratoga in 1777 was one of the fifteen most decisive battles in world history. It was the turning point of the American Revolution and caused France to recognize the independence of the United States.

Just 230 short years later another significant battle will occur in Saratoga, NY. It will be a Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest occurring at the Saratoga Race Course at 2pm on Monday, August 20, 2007.
