Nathan's Famous 4th of July Hot Dog Eating Contest Qualifier in Charlotte

Hall Hunt edged out Juliet Lee at the Nathan's Famous Charlotte qualifier.

Florida's faith-based eater consumed 28.75 HDBs to Juliet's 28.

It was a close conest all the way. A savory hot dog volley of sorts that evoked memories of Connors/Lendl if say Jimmy and Ivan were competitive eaters.

Tim Gravy Brown did an impressive 25 and Pat Bruss nailed down a respectable 23.5. Bruss had been credited with more but corrected the judge. Juris the Purist, Super Paul and Krazy Kevin Carr were in it as well.
